Rebates, Tax Incentives and Permits

Installation Rebates
When we install a new furnace, air conditioner, heat pump or an energy efficiency measure at your home, you may qualify for a rebate from your utility company (for conserving energy) and, depending on the season, you may also receive a rebate from the equipment manufacturer.

Tax Incentives

The Federal Government has extended to homowners a method of adding energy efficient improvements to their homes and receiving a Tax Credit against their income tax for the year 2010.

Note - this is a "Tax Credit" and not a "Tax Deduction"! A tax credit is applied directly to your tax liability. (If you owe $2,000 in taxes and you have done $5,000 in energy efficiency up grades, you get to deduct $1,500 so instead of $2,000 you only owe $500. It's not really difficult to understand, but you should contact you tax adviser.

Unlike other contractors, we supply you with the rebate applications and/or submit them to you for signing and mailing. The rebate checks are then mailed directly to your home. Our efforts Guarantee that you receive everything you are entitled to.

We are the only contractor who guarantees you will receive your rebate, even if the manufacturer or utility company does not pay you.

Installation Permits
All municipalities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area now require that their inspector visit your home after a new air conditioner, furnace or heat pump is installed to make sure it meets minimum safety requirements. This is for your safety, it is not a method for generating city revenue!

We file for your permit. We are really, really good, but I want the inspector to look over our installation to make sure we didn't miss something. Again - It's for YOUR safety!

The permit fee is included in our proposal price.

Note: Homeowners who have new heating and air conditioning equipment installed without the contractor getting a permit, incur the risk of a large fine and they may not be able to sale their home, without first going through an expensive permit and inspection process.
